Interested in adding some key handmade pieces to your wardrobe? This is your gateway to sewing your own fashions. In this course, we'll be using patterns from Lotta Jansdotter's book Everyday Style - simple styles suited to everyday living with numerous options for customization. Choose three to four garments or accessories from the book to make your own. Options include scarves, bags, tops, tunics, A-line skirts, dresses, and jackets.

This 8 week course will be held on Thursdays, from 6:30-8:30pm beginning January 14th and concluding March 3rd. Four (4) additional studio hours may be used to continue independent work on your projects.

***NEW SESSION ADDED***

A second course offering is now scheduled for Sundays, from 4-6pm beginning January 31st and concluding March 20th.

*Please note : If you are unable to make it to one of your sessions, we may be able to offer a make-up spot in the alternate time slot - availability will be determined on a case by case basis.

Our course will begin with choosing patterns and fabrics to complement your own everyday style and we'll begin preparing our patterns for the course on Day 1.

Class fee includes:

    - 8, 2-hour sessions
    - 4 hours independent studio time
    - One roll Swedish Tracing paper

    - fabric and notions needed to complete your chosen projects

    Skill Level: This course is open to beginners doing their first apparel project and advanced sewers alike. More advanced sewers may choose to expand upon the existing patterns by adding pockets, using more advanced construction and/or finishing techniques, or using more challenging fabrics.
