DO: Fall Sashiko Tutorial

Ah…Fall is definitely in the air.  Here the leaves are starting to crunch under our feet and the air is crisp. You may be decorating with chrysanthemums, pumpkins, and Indian Corn on the outside and changing out some of your home decor as well. We love to bring those warm, earthy colors indoors and especially like designs that can transition easily through the duration of Fall holidays without screaming one name or the other. We stitched this Fall inspired sashiko design on a handmade tea towel as it reminded us of falling and scattered leaves. We liked the minimal, modern look, but you can fully customize this design!  Head on over to Sew Mama Sew today where we share this stitching tutorial and pattern download so you can get Fall into your kitchen, too! Apple pie not included.

Don’t forget, we’ve got our Sashiko & Spirits UNWIND event at Wigle Whiskey coming up on October 26th! It’s a perfect opportunity to get your feet wet with sashiko with a simple coaster kit. Sign-up right here!
