UNWIND: Sashiko and Spirits October 19th

**NEW DATE – UNWIND is now scheduled for October 26th***

What can we say? We can’t help but love surrounding ourselves with other makers. It’s invigorating and just plain fun to be with kindred spirits. We feel an immediate connection with those that appreciate handmade and we especially have an affinity for those who want to learn, but think they can’t. We want every project we share to be approachable and within reach. Our goal with UNWIND, our small event maker series, is to gather and welcome makers of all experience levels (guys, we mean you, too) to participate in small hand-stitching projects at changing locations around the city.  We not only love you, but we love all the awesome small businesses in our city, too!

We are kicking off  UNWIND  with these fantastic Sashiko coasters and gathering at the family owned and operated Wigle Whiskey Distillery! Join us as we stitch Sashiko & sip spirits and share in the camaraderie of our creative community.

You will receive a set of two coasters, sashiko needle, two colors of thread (use one or both), and step-by-step guidance by us! You will have the choice  of two navy coasters which come with white and pink thread or cream coasters with blue and red thread.

We will provide some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, but you should plan on purchasing your spirits from our wonderful hosts at Wigle as they’ll have made-to-order cocktails during our UNWIND event.

We are offering an early bird registration rate until September 22 and we have limited quantities of each color coaster set so register early to get your first choice and secure your spot. You will leave with an awesome project to use or gift, cheeks that hurt from laughing, satisfaction from supporting a local business, and most certainly, some new friends!
