In this four hour class, students will learn the considerations and techniques necessary when sewing with knits. Fear knits no more! Learn to use the serger for garment construction and a twin needle on the sewing machine to make neat hems on your knits. This pattern yields a custom fit pair of leggings. Class participants are encouraged to measure themselves (or with help from a friend) ahead of time, but we are happy to assist with measurements prior to class. In addition to the 4 hour class, you will receive credit for an additional hour of independent studio time to complete your leggings or make another pair.
