this year i promised myself i would make me a quilt. using hand dyed fabrics i got from my daughter. they have been sitting in the closet for a couple years…i never could bring myself to cut into them!

I want to make myself a new bag/purse, just need to decide on pattern/size. It needs to be big enough for me, but not so big that the whole family thinks I can carry their stuff… (maybe I need to be really selfish and sew each a nice bag (means more sewingtime for me ;) ) than they will have NO excuse to try to use me to carry their stuff)
Ha! I am in the process of transitioning to smaller bags myself. After years of packing everything but the kitchen sink in a tote to go anywhere with small kiddos, I can finally pack minimally and I want a smaller purse! I hope to share my Madeleine bag here in a few days:)
